Emotional Regulation - The Basics Workshop
2 hour Workshop into the basics of Emotional Regulation.
Led by one of our wonderful OT therapists.
Nervous system regulation for reducing hypervigilance and anxiety. Enhanced connection to body awareness, proprioception and interoception (internal sensing)
This workshop with our OT and Yoga Therapist, Sabrina, involves:
Trauma informed therapeutic yoga program for managing anxiety.
Strategies of yogic origin and CBT evidence-based research to offer relief for difficult feelings and awareness to their onset.
Enhanced connection to body awareness proprioception and interoception (internal sensing).
Increase tolerance for body sensing, awareness of physical sensations and relation to state of life.
Improved psychological and cognitive flexibility.
For 18 years old and above
Small group of around 10 participants
What to wear and bring?
Comfortable clothes. There is yoga movement involved but not complosory. You’re welcome to sit on the yoga mats and bolster cushions or a chair
